Marvel Phase 3 Anouncements: Black Panther and Carol Danvers

After Yesterdays underwhelming reveal of the Doctor Strange Casting, Marvel just dropped an A-Bomb on me. They have released their plans for Phase Three, and things are looking up. As of right now, the line is looking like this:

Captain America: Civil War (May 6th, 2016);
Dr. Strange (Nov. 4th, 2016);
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (May 5th, 2017);
Thor: Ragnarok (July 18th, 2017);
Black Panther (November 3, 2017);
Avengers: Infinity War, Part 1 (May 4th, 2018);
Captain Marvel (July 6th, 2018);
Inhumans (November 2nd, 2018);
Avengers: Infinty War, Part 2 (May 3rd, 2019).

In the Escapist articular i found this on (found here: X) They Also said one more Major bit of News: Captain Marvel will be the Carol Danvers version of the character.

That means Marvel has finally stepped up to the plat when it comes to adding more diversity to its cinematic universe. Sure, it’s not quite a home run, but this is a sorely needed addition.

The articles states that Black Panther (played by Chadwick Boseman) will make his first appearance in “Captain America 3” in a rather large role before getting his own movie. This, for me, almost makes up for them doing the “Civil War” story in the first place (an idea i wasn’t big on). And in order to gain more fan support, Marvel also released an offal poster of Black Panther as well:

But there is one thing missing: Ant Man. Could this be due to the fact that we already know about that film, or has the rocky production made the company have to drop the film? I’m pretty sure it is the former, but i still find this interesting.
